I have the Basic 1.3 version and have no problems downloading and opening word documents or PDFs from a windows mobile phone (Browser Opera 10). However, with Samsung Moment Andriod OS v1.6 (Browser Safari 3.1.2) I can select the file to open and it goes to download but the download always fails after going on forever. I have been able to download PDFs from other locations on the internet, like Sprint. What am I missing?

Hi Rhonda,
From what you described, it sounds like your document is just not supported on your android phone. One easy way to test this would be to send it in email as an attachment, if you can open it then it should be able to open from the web.
If your WinMo device can open the document, then the link to the document is working properly. You might try pressing and holding on the link to see if there are any options to "Download" or "Open in a new Window" that may work. We have an Android 1.6 phone here that we will attempt to recreate this issue and try to come up with a work-around.

Thank you for your quick response. For clarification, I don't think it is ME specific, but thought you guys may have run into this with SharePoint (http:// or https://) and Android. Again, thank you for looking into it.
