It has come to our attention that a few folks have had issues activating their licenses, even trial license, with little to no error message. The culprit, almost 100% of the time has been that their server time was more than 5 minutes off of world time. This will invalidate the license.

To check if your server has this issue you can run the following in a command prompt. Note the NTP difference number.

w32tm /monitor /nowarn /computers:time.windows.com

If this command doesn't work, try "w32tm /monitor /computers:time.windows.com". As Joe explained to me, you may need to run this more than once to actually see a result. You are looking for a result that goes something like NTP: -XXXX.XXXX
