We have found an issue with configuring Mobile Entree on WSS 3.0 installations. This issue arises if you do not have Search Server 2008 Express installed. The Search Scope configuration is looking for the Microsoft.Office.Server.Search assembly and not finding it.

Edit: This issue has been resolved
