Hi, I tried sharepoint2010 site with ME in safari browser by changing user agent but I feel it is not satisfactory. Can you please suggest some simulator/tool for testing in iPad?
Thanks and Regards
Ravi

The best tool to use, and what we use for testing here, is an actual iPad. What did you find wrong with Safari? Safari in windows/mac is almost exactly the same as that in iOS.

Hi Joe, Thank you for quick reply. Actually I always used to test ME in safari by selecting User Agent-"Safari iPhone" but If I change user agent iPhone to iPad and refresh site,it shows me sharepoint desktop view. I tried in two or three machine but result is same. So thought to ask some suggestion for any simulator/tool.
Thanks and Regards
Ravi

What version of Mobile Entree are you running? Click on the Global Config tab in ME Config and it will show you.

Hi Joe, I am having ME version 2.2.0.21. If it is related to version then can I upgrade the version without affecting my current setting or deployed custom features functionality?
Thanks
Ravi

Panels were introduced in 2.3 and the iPad will only be supported in that version as well. Upgrading from 2.2 -> 2.3 shouldn't cause any issues. You can download the 2.3 installer from www.mobileentree.com/download, run it selecting Upgrade.
