The mobile entree is out of box. Sharepoint is 2010. Blackberry is 6.0 on Torch. Mobile Entrée Farm Installation - v2.3.0.10
The error when tapping the mobile entree application item:
Bad Request <server name>:80
Is blackberry 6.0 supported? Or is this error something different?
Thanks

Hi Dam,
BlackBerry OS 6.0 is supported. As a WebKit browser, it is a fully AJAX based interface.
Here are a couple more follow-up questions:
1. What authentication scheme are you using? Basic, NTLM, Forms
2. Are you saying you can get to the Home screen of the app, but when clicking on a different application listed, you get the error?
3. Do lists or document libraries work? Can you click on them to view their content?
Thanks,
Mick

Hi Mick,
1. Active directory auth 2. I can get to mobile optimized root site showing lists, document libraries, sub sites, apps. 3. Lists, document libraries and apps do not work. Same error when tapping any item in the lists, document libraries including the mobile entree app.
Only links to other sub sites work but sites are not mobile optimized when rendered.
Thanks

Hi Dam,
That sounds like you have an issue making AJAX requests. There is a way we can switch to postback based interaction, but first I would check to see if there is something blocking the AJAX requests in your BES. Or possibly a firewall setting where only certain content types are allowed.
Thanks,
Mick

Do you still have the work-around for the good browser in place? If so, you will need to return ME to it's factory settings (restore the files you changed) and reset IIS. I am not certain that this is what is causing the issue, but we need to make sure we are troubleshooting with a supported configuration.

No I reverted back to original settings. There is no workaround in place. Reset the IIS as well. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
We would like to see the out of box capabilities work.
Thanks

Ok, after verifying factory settings and resetting IIS, mobile entree app on blackberry seems to be working. Please consider this thread closed. Thank you for the help.
