Hi,

When trying to install Mobile Entree, the following message appears at the end:

Quote:
***** SOLUTION DEPLOYMENT *****
SERVERNAME : http://servername:82/ : The solution was successfully deployed.
SERVERNAME : http://servername/ : The solution was successfully deployed.
SERVERNAME : http://servername:84/ : The solution was successfully deployed.

The activation service was unabled to activate the features.

Mobile Entree doesn't seem to be anywhere in Central Administration either.

The server is running Windows Server 2003 and WSS 3.0.

Any idea why this is happening?

Not sure, but let's try activating manually.

First activate the Mobile Entree Management feature under Operations -> Manage Farm Features. If it is activated, deactivate it and then activate it again. This will give you some Mobile Entree management page links under the Application Management page.

Next activate the Mobile Entree HTTP Modules web application feature for the web applications under Application Management -> Manage Web Application Features.

If all this completes successfully, you should be able to activate the Mobile Entree Base feature on your site from Site Actions -> Site Settings -> Site Features.

let me know how this goes,
-joe

Thanks for the fast reply!

There is no "Mobile Entree Management" feature under Operations -> Manage Farm Features.

I've tried re-installing / un-installing but it won't run:

I'll let you know how I make out when I try a few more things.

We're not sure - it seems like the installer stopped early the first time, and after getting it to install again everything was fine.
