The Mobile Entrée (ME) installer will install the the ME SharePoint Solution which includes the API, Administration and Configuration pages, and the Base Plugin.  The most up to date samples, templates and source code can be found on codeplex at http://mesdk.codeplex.com/.

One of the most important OOTB features of ME is the Base Plugin.  It provides comprehensive access to SharePoint lists, document libraries, discussion boards, and search.  These lists and libraries are configurable via the Mobile Entree Configuration page that is available to site administrators from the Site Actions menu.

From the configuration page you can expose select lists and views to your mobile users.

This provides an easy and intuitive way to give instant mobile access to your SharePoint content without doing any custom development.  The last few images here are from the Base Plugin rendered on an iPhone.

Currently there are 2 downloads available to support Mobile Entrée (ME).  The installer which is found here and the SDK which can be downloaded here.  The installer will install the the ME SharePoint Solution which includes the API, Administration and Configuration pages, and the Base Plugin.  The SDK includes a QuickStart guide, Visual Studio templates, and some sample applications.  Soon you will be able to grab the most up-to-date samples from codeplex at http://mesdk.codeplex.com/.
