One fundamental requirement for mobile access to your SharePoint applications using Mobile Entrée is to activate the
Mobile Entrée Base Feature. This SharePoint feature includes the
Base Plugin, the
Mobile Entree Configuration Pages, as well as the framework necessary to run other mobile applications built using the
API. The Base Feature is a Site Feature, so you can mobile enable SharePoint on a per-site basis (as opposed to a Site Collection Feature). To activate the feature follow these steps:

You must have full control of the site you are trying to mobile enable.

From the Site Actions menu select Site Settings.

under the Site Administration heading click Site features.

Find the Mobile Entrée Base feature and click
Activate.
