Trial Activation

During installation, Mobile Entrée will attempt to activate a trial license if an internet connection is available.  If the server on which Mobile Entrée is being installed does not have an internet connection, you will need to follow the Offline Activation steps to activate a trial license offline before using the software.

Online Activation
  1. Open the Central Administration website for the server being activated
  2. Go to the Application Settings page
  3. Select Manage Licenses under the Mobile Entrée Management section
  4. Click the Update Server License link that corresponds to the server you will activating
  5. Enter the license ID and password in the boxes provided and click Update License
 
Offline Activation
  1. Open the Central Administration website for the server being activated
  2. Go to the Application Settings page
  3. Select Manage Licenses under the Mobile Entrée Management section
  4. Click the Update Server License link that corresponds to the server you will activating
  5. If you are activating a puchased license, you will need to select Activate Server License Offline then  enter your license ID and password.  If you are activating a trial, you will be taken directly to the offline activation screen.
  6. On a computer with internet access, open the Get Activation Response link
  7. Paste the Activation Request into the provided input area then click the Get Activation Code button
  8. Copy all text from the Activation Code input area
  9. Go back to the server being activated and paste the text from the last step into the input area labeled Activation Response then click Update License
  10. Your Mobile Entrée license is now activated

  10. Your Mobile Entrée license is now activated
