The installer will install and deploy the solution as well as activate some of the features if you choose to. It will also kick off timer jobs on each of the web-front-end servers to grab a trial license.
You must have the .NET Framework 3.5 installed on all the servers in your farm
In order to install Mobile Entrée you must be a farm administrator
The SharePoint Timer Service must be running
The SharePoint Administration service must be running
